The reconstruction of the log cabin was mainly carried out inside the building. It all started with reinforcing the outdated wooden structures. The main task was to maximise the space without changing the dimensions of the building. The 1st floor consisted of a large number of small rooms, which were united into one space with several functional zones (the scale of the room increased at once)
The doors to the entrance hall and to the dining room from the common area are made of glass also to increase the space
The staircase took up a lot of space, so we had to make it as light and transparent as possible (unnoticeable and unburdening), so daylight enters the room through the transparent steps.
The mirrors in the hallway are the fronts of a large wardrobe. their main purpose is to visually enlarge the hallway
The surrounding forest environment dictated the naturalness of the materials used (Transcarpathian slate, wood in various variants)
The style of the building was changed from rather tinny (to put it mildly) to more fresh and modern, suitable for different moods.
The shell itself is fairly neutral in colour, with bright accents. The main "cheeky" or soft mood is set by the colour-programmed lighting, which always echoes one of the interior elements (chairs or cushions or paintings)
